My Last blog post was about Flock well there is another bad @ss project powered by mozilla called Songbird – Open Source Music Player. What is Songbird exactly well it’s as the name may suggest it’s a music player but not like any other Music player it’s built around a web browser why would you do that well i’ll list some of the features

SHOUTcast RadioStream music using the integrated SHOUTcast Radio directory.

Customize with Add-ons
Enhance with the use of Theme Add-ons and feature plugins just like Firefox

Songbird promises to be the Firefox of media players

sound like a lot to look up too but this is a very awsome crossplatform media player.
worth looking into & watching what happens to it but so far it’s great & very fun to use as a web browser that plays some of your own killer tunes & introduces you to new ones over the big network..

Online Tab Player | Songsterr

Here is a site for all you guitarists that may read this blog I found a site that has a list of guitar tabs & plays them via flash like Tuxguitar for Linux  or Guitar Pro for Windows it’s called Songsterr & I recommend that you go check it out & rock out. Even works well with buggy Adobe Flash on Linux
